a family-run Old Town hotel run with love
We are a family-run Old Town hotel , and we’re certainly not perfect. But perfection is in the eye of the beholder!
But since no one likes to buy a pig in a poke, we’d rather point out our weaknesses up front.
- You are welcome to take public transportation directly to the Boulevardhotel “Sängerstadt.”
The train station is about 1 km away and is easily accessible on foot. If you’d prefer to take a taxi, we recommend Taxi Bergin, Tel. 03531-600 700 / 03531-600 700.
- Our parking lot is not located right outside the front door, but behind the hotel at Kleine Ringstr. 18.
It’s not PERFECT, but it’s completely FREE for you! And on top of that, this quick exercise is good for your health!
- We don’t have a spa or fitness area — sorry!
But there’s plenty of fresh air in the surrounding area and great bike paths! And if you don’t bring your own bike, you’re welcome to rent one from us for a fee.
- We, too, want to do our part to protect the environment.
That’s why our housekeeping staff cleans your room only every two days. If you’d prefer otherwise or need anything, just let us know.
- We’ve gotten rid of the phones in the rooms.
In the age of smartphones and unlimited data plans, they were useless gimmicks.
- Our hotel is located right in the heart of the city, directly on the market square, and there are streets running right past it; admittedly, that’s not ideal — at least not at night with the windows open.
But to make up for that, every room has individually adjustable air conditioning. After all, your sleep is important to us! So if it gets too noisy with the window open, just close our soundproof windows and turn on the air conditioning. And you don’t have to feel guilty—we generate our own electricity in a climate-neutral way!
- Oh, and since our hotel — as I mentioned — is right on the market square, there are restaurants there, and sometimes events are held on the market square on the weekends, too.
Loud laughter and music can be really annoying, but they can also be contagious! So why not just join in and celebrate with us!
- We’re not cheap.
That’s why we — and especially our individually designed themed rooms — are always worth the price. If that’s ever not the case, please let us know right away.
